Good Times

seeing as it had been a little while, we decided to hit up vegas last weekend. however, we never even made it into a casino. we just have too much fun hanging out at my parents house. here is a little recap.

while we were sleeping thursday night, our sister in law lauren was going into labor. this handsome guy was born friday afternoon. we cannot wait to get down to phoenix to hold him!

our very good friends, the costa's, now live in las vegas. we are so pleased. this makes it much easier to see them. they were previously in utah, but let's face it, we hardly ever go there. so this new locale is really much better for us. and we are glad they accommodated.

my mother acquired a teepee somewhere along the way, and set it up for the first time. the kids were really excited to be little indians. the drum in the background was around in my growing up days, and it never ceases to entertain.

we love mimi.

just before we left, eden decided that mimi could not hold charlie if she didn't also hold her. so good mimi obliged. you cannot see it in this photo but eden is attempting to hold charlie's other hand. this is due to the fact that he kept hitting mimi in the face. he did this repeatedly. but that is probably because mimi just laughed and charlie thought it was hilarious. (and yes he is only wearing a diaper. what?! it is hot in vegas. really hot.)

we love mimi and poppa's house. eden told me today that she wanted to call poppa and tell him she needed him. and to come to her house. so, mimi and poppa......take the hint!! we'll be waiting! xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
