is there a problem here?

i am a dedicated mommy blogger. i have no qualms about that. i make no apologies. i love to talk about my kids. they are the best part of my life.

but today i would like to talk about something else. another important aspect of my life:

SHOES.

i love shoes. i need shoes. i have no money for shoes. so i found a solution that agrees with my need and my wallet.

old navy.

yes the same outpost that is fantastic for the kiddies clothes also has great shoes.

i own no less than 6 pairs of flats from this store.

and i wear them constantly.

the oldest pair is several years old. and still going strong.

now, i know that fashion experts would tell me that with the money spent on shoes from old navy, i could have waited and purchased a spectacular pair instead. you know, quality over quantity. but in the meantime what would i wear?

and really, i don't have anywhere to wear spectacular shoes.

so i will continue to adore my old navy flats.

and cause i couldn't help it, a couple shots of the cuties.

what can i say? I LOVE THESE TWO!!

It has been awhile...

so here are some pictures of the kids.

it appears charlie is feeling better as he is finally eating again. and if you know my child, you know he normally eats everything in sight. so while he was sick and not eating, he was not really himself. good to have you back baby boy.

since the sun was shining, we made it down to the park today. and i commenced taking pictures. lots. i am sparing you most of them.

if i weren't there to save him, i am most certain he would make his way to the top and jump right off. dare devil.

i have not seen this smile in days. so glad my sweet girl is feeling better.

the sunshine makes me want to take copious amounts of pictures.


i certainly hope this nasty cold/flu season is over soon.

if my kids get sick again and i am stuck in the house for another week, i might not make it.

charlie's got it.

it is yucky.

i do not like the nebulizer.

and neither does he.

so we are at home, on the couch, in our jammies.

and we snuggle a lot.

so i guess there are some perks!
