phoenix

Quite frankly, I didn't take nearly enough pictures while we were in Phoenix. We had a great time, even though it was a short weekend. Eden, Charlie and I arrived at 3 on Friday and Jordan picked us up from the airport. Eden was thrilled to see him. I wish I had a picture of her running up to him to give him a big hug. Danny came by car that evening with his father. I think they had some good bonding time on that drive.
My first flight by myself with two kiddies went pretty well actually. We had some turbulence on take off and landing and during both Eden told me she didn't like it. She wanted to get off the plane and go home. Luckily she never outright screamed and I was able to distract her with gummy bears, my new favorite travel companions. Charlie fell asleep promptly after take off; during which he looked at me with eyes the size of saucers but never made one peep. Good boy.

Eden and Benson dancing with their matching his and hers blankies. They loved playing together. They also have on matching his and hers plaid shorts. Too cute.

We got to see Baby Bela at the hospital on the day she went home. I even got to hold her. But that was a different day and I didn't have my camera that day, so Avery has those pictures. PS: Ave I need those pics!!

Ave and Charlie. He is humongous compared to Bela. In fact Bela just passed the birth weight of Charlie and she is nearly eight weeks old!! Teensie!

Just in case I didn't make it clear how huge Charlie is, here is a comparison pic! Charlie is 3 months older than Bela and about 8 lbs bigger! This pic is special because we have the exact same photo of Eden and Benson at about the same ages. Of course E and B were about the same size!! Bela got to go home right after we took this pic. She was really happy to be done with the hospital and so was her mommy.
We love Phoenix. I think if there was a job there for Danny we would have to think about leaving So Cal. But there isn't so we remain in paradise. And really I think we are just fine with that.
